The Old Rectory is only 3 miles from the city of Norwich. It was formerly owned by the Bishop of Norwich and is now the family home of Susan and David Thurman who have lived here for over 25 years.
The house was built about 1845. It is light and spacious. The main rooms have high ceilings and sash windows. All rooms have radiator central heating.
There are two double rooms with ensuite bathrooms and one twin room with private bathroom. The family bedroom has a double bed, a single bed and ample cot space (a cot can be provided).
The house, garden and meadows cover about 3 acres. There are many rare and specimen trees, and our guests are welcome to explore this haven for wildlife.
Guests are invited to use the sitting room in the evening.
There is ample parking space in the private driveway.
